This Christmas, we’ve got different floral centrepiece inspirations to help you in making the occasion extra special and worth celebrating.
Feeling down? Don’t allow your need for repose dim your spirit. All you need are Christmas songs that would uplift your soul.
Taylor Swift is known for taking the time to get to know some of her faithful fans online. For the holidays this year, she thanked them for their support in the most remarkable way. She noted their likes and personal details on social media, then sent them personal Christmas and Hanukkah gifts with hand written cards in each parcel. The kindness and effort put in by this superstar completely overwhelms the recipients, as seen in this year-end video, which co-stars Swift’s adorable cat Meredith. Grab a tissue and be prepared to become a fan yourself.
One last Christmas song to wind up the 2014 holiday cheer. Those crazy kids at Pop Roulette review what really, honestly happened this year through the majesty of Christmas carols.
We here at Ready Flowers would like to wish all of you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas, from the bottom of our hearts! Here a is a rendition of Feliz Navidad from Walk Off The Earth.
We all love the spirit of Christmas, people being nicer and a general feeling of goodwill pervades. There are family and friends, presents and parties, and loads of other reasons to look forward to the holidays. However, if we’re really honest, one of the main things we look forward to is the food. Doug the Pug, with his big pleading eyes, nails that sentiment in this parody of Mariah Carey’s annoying Christmas jingle ‘All I want for Christmas is you’.
The Salvation Army gives hope to countless thousands each year, and an important part of that is helping people to have a merrier Christmas. Helped in part by the people who ordered through our special Salvo promotion earlier this month, Ready Flowers donated 50 meals to their 10,000 Meals programme. It is our pleasure to help them get a wee much closer to their goal of providing Christmas meals for 10,000 people who, for a variety of reasons, might not have otherwise enjoyed the holiday cheer. You too can give hope to someone this Christmas by donating a meal for $10 at the 10,000 meals programme. Below is their video from this year’s Christmas...
All of us fib a little from time to time and all of us are a little naughty now and again. Would you lie about being naughty if you were being interviewed by Santa’s personal detective if it meant no Christmas presents? Following on from his previous pranks on kids, Jimmy Kimmel is again giving kiddies grief by grilling them on their ‘naughty or nice’ behaviour, added by a lie-detector and the truth fairy. The out-of-the-mouth results are adorable, as well as quite funny.
We’ve shared a video of what cats get up to when their human is out, which includes cleaning their bum with the toothbrush, among other delights. This is a little tongue in cheek version of what dogs get up to, albeit dogs with super holiday powers. This is one we think all dog lovers will appreciate! Wish cats did that, but they’re simply very good at knocking stuff down.
You have friends popping over, now, and you forgot to buy their gift. Too late to even have Ready Flowers help. So what do you do? This video has life hacks to solve this and many other dilemmas, to make sure your Christmas holidays go smoothly. This is one of the milder videos from Grant Thompson, know as “The King of Random”. Videos from his channel usually carry a “do not try this at home” disclaimer. However, these DIY holiday hacks are all pretty safe and kid friendly.
Flash mobs have become kind of overdone, especially the cheesier versions. However, this one the U.S. Air Force Band is pure class, as they kick off the holiday season with an original arrangement of Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring/Joy to the World,” led by the band’s commander and conductor, Col. Larry H. Lang. Starting with a single cellist on the floor of the National Air and Space Museum’s “Milestones of Flight” gallery, and swelling to 120 musicians, treating unsuspecting museum visitors to four minutes of pure holiday cheer. Watch as instrumentalists streamed into the gallery from behind airplanes and space capsules, and vocalists burst into song from the Museum’s second floor balcony.
These DIY paper snowflakes are super creative and festive, but they are actually fairly easy to make. Pure genius for decorating on a budget or just to impress. If this video is of interest to you, go to the full tutorial from the crafty people at Handimania.
